With the introduction of EYFS I have changed some of the ways I record information and store contracts etc. Previously each child's file would contain all the business side of the paperwork required by Ofsted. This has now changed to start with information about the child, photographic records of their development and achievements, copies of their artwork, and the back of the folder contains all the formal paperwork. This is so the children can take an active part in completing/accessing their folders, as per the EYFS theme ALL ABOUT ME! |

As many of the children are 5 this summer, we have had a major revamp of the garden to give them more space to learn to ride a bicycle and or learn to roller skate, the bike riding is looking promising already. UPDATE - Sept 08 One of them has already mastered the bike riding, and the second child has managed 3 rotations of the wheel before wobbling so I guess its only days away until success. |

My commitment to ensuring children achieve the best they are able to, with encouragement, support and enthusiasm. I use my skills, training and experience to make sure children have choices that encourage development through fun and natural learning instincts. Consistency and clarity aids learning and self expression in all ages.
